How
do I know if my message has been delivered?
EasyLink
Multicast Messaging Service provides users with on-line delivery detailed
status and summary reports which allow users to track, trace and
confirm delivery of sent messages right from their browser.

Which
file formats does the EasyLink Multicast Messaging support?
EasyLink
Multicast Messaging Service supports ASCII or TIFF file formats. The service
will support all image files in TIFF format with a maximum file
size of 3 megabytes.

If

No, your Web to Fax account will work for the Multicast Service
without making any changes.

How
do I log onto the service?
Once
you have registered for the service you will be provided with a
EasyLink Multicast Messaging Service ID and Password. EasyLink Multicast
Messaging Service users may use their existing ID and password. Enter the
correct information in the fields on the Log On screen, and click
on the Log On button. Please note: if you enter inaccurate information,
an error message will appear. Once your entries have been confirmed,
the EasyLink Multicast Messaging Services Home page will appear on your screen.
From this page you can access the forms you'll need to send messages
and check on message status.

Why
cant I get into the secured section of the EasyLink Production
Central?
Please
make sure your browser software and ISP support the "Netscape Secured
Protocol." This protocol, known as HTTPS, allows you to gain access
to Web site pages that require a security code (user name and password)
for entry. If you do experience this problem, call your ISP for
assistance.

How
many pages can I send at a time?
The
service will allow you to send up to 3 megabytes of TIFF per fax
transmission or upto 300 kilobyte of text. This equates to approximately 60 pages.

How
do I enable my browser to accept cookies?
Handling Cookies
A "cookie" is
a small amount of information that the EasyLink Production Central copies
to your hard disk. A cookie is used to help identify you the next
time you visit the site.
If you do not
have cookies enabled on your browser, you will not be able to logon
to the Multicast Messaging Service.
To control your
computer's behavior with respect to cookies:
Netscape
- From the
Edit menu, choose Preferences.
- Click the
Advanced category.
- Under the
"Cookies" category, you will see 3 radio buttons. Click the radio
button "Accept all cookies".
- Click the
OK button.
Microsoft
Internet Explorer
- From the
View menu, choose Internet Options (or Tools menu in Internet
Explorer version 5).
- Click the
Advanced tab (or Security tab and Custom Level in Internet Explorer
version 5).
- Under the
"Cookies" category, you will see 3 radio buttons. Click the radio
button "Always accept cookies" ( or enable both cookie types in
Internet Explorer version 5).
- Click the
OK button.
